The Management

Since he was a child, Adriano Machado had the opportunity to learn and familiarise himself with the environment of construction work, as he accompanied and helped his father, an ironworker and carpenter.

At school he studied and learnt to work with wood, attended visual and technological education for several years and did his 12th year in the arts, introduction to law and information technology.

Born and raised in the Algarve, Portugal, he emigrated to Switzerland for nine years where he gained experience in many areas, also taking the opportunity to learn several languages, and can now express himself well in six different idioms! This is always an asset that he puts to good use in his work with clients of different nationalities.

Driven by his desire to learn and expand, he has accumulated vast work experience in various areas such as:
Design, Calculus, Management, Marketing, Client and Employee Management, Logistics, Diplomatic Services, Hospitality, Deliveries, Ironwork, Formwork and Clean Carpentry, Reinforced Concrete, Plumbing, Electricity, Plastering, Assembly of Partitions and False Ceilings, Bars, Tiling, Painting, Roofing, among many others.

Adriano Machado's career continues to progress today, attending various training courses and reading several books in order to continue learning and keeping up to date with new products on the market and their application techniques.

Part of the wisdom his dad kept repeating since a young age: "Knowledge takes no place"

Adriano cherishes and applies the values of generosity, honesty, transparency, assertiveness, respect, honour (when he gives you his word on a commitment you can be sure he'll keep it!) and the humility to learn from everyone around him, whether they're an 8-year-old child or an 80-year-old sage.

He creates an example that inspires people not only in their personal lives, but also in the leadership of his teams and collaborators.

He believes and puts into practice: "Be the change you want to see in the world", Mahatma Gandhi

A lot of his principles are drawn from the wisdom passed on by his mother: his persistence, focus, determination, fairness and putting his best into every task he undertakes, doing what he believes is right from the start.

As his mum always told him: "to want is power to make it happen" (from portuguese: "querer é poder") and Son, if you're going to do it, do it well, if you're not going to have to work 3 times as hard: do it poorly, undo it and do it well"

Full of positive and optimistic energy, he is a fun person, always with a smile on his face and a touch of healthy madness - which infects those around him. With a solutions-focused mentality, he loves to overcome any challenge that comes his way.

Adriano is aware of the importance of having a "healthy mind in a healthy body" (Romano Juvenal), which is why he practises various sports (his favourite being climbing, particularly via ferratas) and eats a healthy, balanced diet.

Other passions in his life are agriculture and music. He enjoys reading and going to the beach, connecting with animals, nature and people.

"Construction is not like a football match, it's not how it ends, it's how it starts, if it starts well it ends well!!!" Adriano Machado
